listening to: the phil hendrie show (on the net even though it’s a radio show) glorious friday…4:15 on friday to be exact…this day has flown by and so has this week…i enjoy those weeks the most…i also enjoy the fact that i have finished up just about every project i was currently working on which means less stress for me come monday…and we all know that’s a good thing…

hip hip hooray…i just received another fun gadget in the mail yesterday…as a result of signing up at the right time for the training i had to take for work in cleveland last month they gave me a free portable mp3 player…how fun…it can hold up to 256MB (or in non-geek speak about 4-5 full albums) and can also hold non-music files which means it can be used as a removable disc drive as well…how nifty…

lots of kool stuff going on with me…first off i ended up buying that ampeg bass amp off ebay for more than $100 cheaper than it was at guitar center…it should be here by tomorrow…i can hardly contain my excitement…i also got my new cell phone last week…it’s really nice and has a lot of fun gadgets and gizmos for me to pass the time with…hooray for that…

hmmm…so what’s new…well i got a new effects pedal for my bass guitar and i’m much excited about it…it’s a digitech bp200 (i’m sure that means diddly-squat to yah) and the sound’s coming out of it aren’t quite amazing but definitely a step-up from the low-end box i used to kick around and call a pedal…i am also eyeing a new ampeg 100 watt 15” amp for my next gear-related purchase…and yes this will be the first “actual” amp i’ve ever owned…and you all me pegged for a bass aficionado…fools…

it’s finally fall…we’ve been through winter already but at long last, fall is now here…the leaves are falling here in sugarcreek…and apparently they only fall here, because everyone and their brother from across the country comes here to watch them fall…yup, gravity works in rural america just like it does in the big city, folks…now go home and try to learn how to drive faster than 20 mph on state routes…
