well we finally got the heck out of dodge and made it to lexington...we played at a little bar/restaurant called alondra's...it seemed like an alright place...unfortunately not that many people decided to show up...oh well, you get a few bad apples in the bunch...we just hope there aren't that many more bad ones...

everyone played very good sets...state bird played first, then twjr and discover america played last of us three...a local band closed the show...they were supposed to be a "big draw" as the promoter put it...big in kentucky must mean 25...because that's about how many people were there...

at any rate...the guys in the last band were pretty cool and offered us a place to stay for the night...that's no small thing when you have a group of 11 people...luckily they had a big basement and one cat per person on the tour...mostly all little kittens which were fun to watch wrestle around and kill small animals...i even rescued one from a tree after he thought he could climb it and actually get back down...rascally lil devil...

we're in a small coffee shop in nashville right now killing some time before our show tonight...should be a good one we hope...i took a few pictures of twjr and da's sets last night plus a few more from life on the road but don't have time to upload them now...should have time tomorrow...

until then...
